Description 

Model PTDM centrifuges are three-column top discharge, intermittent operation filtrating equipment. The material is fed into the drum at the top; under the action of the centrifugal force field., the liquid-phase passes through the filter medium and the discharged out of the machine, while the solid-phase material is retained inside the drum and, after the machine is stopped, the material is discharged from the top. The centrifuge has such features as simple structure, easy operation, no easy breakage of material as well as good versatility.

The surface of the parts contacting the material is smooth, flat, easy to clean (or sterilize), corrosion-resistant. Non-reactive with medication and non-adsorptive. The centrifuge’s drum, class liner bag and exterior and interior of the casing have all undergone polishing treatment.The open hinged cover facilitates the discharging and maintenance. With the cover equipped with feed pipe, washing pipe, explosion proof lamp, wide angle vision glass, etc. (depends on client's needs) It is possible to monitor the whole process of feeding, separating and washing.

Working principles 

1) Airtight equipment

2) The material is fed from the upper into the rotary drum
3) Under the centrifugal force function, the liquid passes through the filtering medium and discharges out of the machine
4) The solid is left in the rotary drum
5) After the machine is stopped, unload the material

Applications 

The centrifuge is applicable to the separating of the suspension containing solid-phase granules with the diameter than 0.01 mm. The solid may be in the forms of granules, crystals or fiber. It is also applicable to the dehydrating of goods in pieces (such as yarn bundles, textile, etc.) it has found wide applications in such trades as chemical, pharmacy, food, light industry. etc. for example :gypsum, thiamine, salt cake, ferric sulfate, cooper sulfate, food additives, starch sugar making, vitamins, antibiotics, herbicide, insecticide, the dehydration of such mineral fines as copper, zinc, aluminum, etc.
