An Industrial Decanter Centrifuge for Fine Powder Recovery is designed to continuously separate, recover, and concentrate fine solid particles from liquid suspensions.
It is widely used for applications where valuable powders, fine particles, or process solids need to be recovered while maintaining high throughput and stable operation.
- Fine chemical powder recovery
- Battery material slurry recovery
- Graphite and carbon powder recovery
- Mineral fine powder concentration
- Ceramic powder recovery
- Pigment and coating material recovery
- Catalyst powder recovery
- Pharmaceutical intermediate recovery
- Inorganic salt and crystal slurry separation
- Precious metal-bearing powder recovery
Fine Particle Settling
Small particles have low settling velocity and are difficult to separate by gravity.
Product Loss Risk
Valuable powder particles may remain suspended in liquid and be discharged with wastewater.
High Moisture Content
Recovered powder may contain excessive liquid, increasing drying and handling costs.
Difficult Continuous Processing
Batch filtration processes may limit production efficiency and require frequent maintenance.
Particle Agglomeration
Fine powders may form compact layers or block filtration media during separation.

How the Decanter Centrifuge Works
1. Wastewater Feeding
Circulating water containing suspended solids enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feed system.
2. Solid Sedimentation
Under centrifugal force, solid particles move toward the bowl wall and form a concentrated sludge layer.
3. Liquid Clarification
Separated water remains in the inner liquid zone and moves toward the liquid discharge outlet.
4. Continuous Sludge Conveying
The scroll transports settled solids toward the conical discharge end.
5. Separate Discharge
Clarified recycled water and concentrated sludge are discharged continuously through separate outlets.

Can a decanter centrifuge recover very fine powder particles?
Yes. With optimized centrifugal force and operating parameters, a decanter centrifuge can recover fine particles that are difficult to settle by gravity.
What types of powders can be recovered?
It can process mineral powders, battery materials, chemical powders, catalysts, pigments, crystals, and other fine solid-liquid mixtures.
Can recovered powder be reused?
Yes. Recovered solids can be sent for drying, recycling, refining, or further production processes.
Does the centrifuge operate continuously?
Yes. The decanter centrifuge is designed for continuous feeding, separation, and automatic solids discharge.
How can powder loss be reduced?
Optimizing bowl speed, differential speed, pond depth, and feed conditions helps improve recovery efficiency.
