How the Decanter Centrifuge Works

1. Fluorite Slurry Feeding

Fluorite slurry enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feed pipe.

An agitated tank helps prevent mineral settling and maintains a stable feed concentration.

2. Centrifugal Sedimentation

High-speed rotation separates fluorite and other mineral particles from the liquid phase.

The denser solids move outward and form a layer against the bowl wall, while clarified liquid remains closer to the center.

3. Continuous Solids Conveying

The screw conveyor rotates at a controlled differential speed.

It continuously transports settled solids toward the conical end for further dewatering.

4. Clarified Liquid Discharge

The separated liquid leaves through the liquid outlet.

It can be returned to grinding, washing, flotation, or transferred to further wastewater treatment.

5. Thickened Fluorite Solids Discharge

Concentrated solids are discharged continuously.

The recovered fluorite slurry can be sent to a filter press, dryer, storage tank, regrinding system, or further beneficiation.
