The natural latex is from rubber tree, milk white, solid content is 30%~40%, and the average diameter of solid is 1.06um. The fresh natural latex contain latex 27%~41.3%(m/m),water 44%~70%, protein 0.2%~4.5%, natural resin 2%~5%, saccharides 0.36%~4.2% and ash 0.4%. To facilitate transportation and processing, natural rubber latex should be concentrated to the solid content of 60% by adopting the method of centrifugal or evaporation. So it also known as concentrated latex.

Latex separator model PDSLA-400/600 is suitable for concentrating and purifying of the natural latex. It can separate the latex into the cream and skim, as well as eliminate the solid impurities at the same time. This model of separator is provided with the following advantages: inverter start-up, el. magnetic brake, short stopping-and long effective separating time, large treatment capacity, good separating efficiency. Working principle and construction
 

 
The natural latex kept in ammonia flow into bowl through feeding pipe(3) from initial container(1) which will be separated in disc set(7).The latex concentrated which flows into the centra of bowl through draining part of top of bowl drained into the latex collect cover(5).The thin latex is drained into thin latex cover through the passage over the disc hood from adjusting screw(4).The solid separated from the latex are in dregs reserve chamber(8) of distributor and dregs pile-up chamber(10) of bowl.Coagulation formed in neck(6) of distributor which has direct effect during separator running. The last overflow of bowl:The latex will congested in upper part of hood and will be drained off through overflow pipe(12) Separator must be shut down for cleaning and broken by non-contact magnetic brake(9)in the short time. The dry latex content in the concentration latex can be adjusted by means of adjusting screw of different length fixed.
