How the Decanter Centrifuge Works
1. Corrosive Slurry Feeding
Corrosive process liquid containing suspended solids enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feeding system.
2. Solid Sedimentation
Under centrifugal force, solid particles move toward the bowl wall and form a concentrated solids layer.
3. Liquid Clarification
Separated liquid remains in the inner liquid zone and moves toward the liquid discharge area.
4. Solids Conveying
The scroll continuously transports settled solids toward the conical discharge end.
5. Separate Discharge
Clarified process liquid and concentrated solids are continuously separated for recycling or further treatment.
