Description

The PWC centrifuge model is a type of horizontal filtration equipment designed for continuous operation. It utilizes a rotating drum and helix that spin at high speeds in the same direction, but with a significant speed difference. The material being processed is continuously fed into the inner cylinder of the spiral feeder through a feeding pipe. Upon acceleration, the material enters the drum.

Inside the centrifuge, the centrifugal force field causes the liquid phase to pass through the filtering medium and exit the machine, while the solid-phase material is retained within the drum, forming the filter residue. Through the combined effect of the centrifugal force and the spiral feeder, the filter residue steadily moves towards the larger end of the drum. Eventually, it is discharged from the machine through the discharging trough.

Importantly, this machine is capable of performing continuous feeding, separation, washing, and discharging while operating at full speed. It offers several notable features, including a compact structure, minimal space requirements, uninterrupted operation, smooth performance, strong adaptability, high handling capacity, and low moisture content in the filter cake.

Applications

It is applicable to the separating of suspension liquid containing the solid-phase material with the granule size greater than 0.1 mm and concentration being 25! 75% or the separating of short fibers.
