How the Decanter Centrifuge Works

1. Drilling Waste Feeding

Mixed drilling waste containing oil, water, and solids enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feeding system.

2. Solid Sedimentation

Under centrifugal force, high-density solid particles move toward the bowl wall and form a concentrated solids layer.

3. Oil-Water Separation

The lighter oil phase moves toward the center area while water remains as the middle liquid phase.

4. Solids Conveying
