Corrosion Resistant Calium Hypochlorate Decanter Centrifuge
,Compact Decanter Centrifuge
,Calium Hypochlorate Decanter Centrifuge With Tiles

The Industrial Decanter Centrifuge for ZLD Pretreatment continuously removes suspended solids, precipitated salts, metal hydroxides, and dense sludge before evaporation, crystallization, or membrane concentration.
It helps protect downstream MEE, MVR, crystallizers, heat exchangers, and RO systems from blockage, scaling, erosion, and unstable operation.
- High-salinity wastewater pretreatment
- RO concentrate solids removal
- Chemical precipitation sludge separation
- Metal hydroxide sludge dewatering
- Brine clarification before evaporation
- Crystallizer mother-liquor treatment
- Salt-slurry thickening
- Pretreatment before MEE or MVR systems
High Suspended-Solids Load
Fine minerals, precipitated salts, metal hydroxides, and process residues may enter the evaporation system.
Effective solids removal reduces blockage and sediment accumulation.
Scaling and Crystallization
Cooling or concentration may cause calcium salts, silica, sulfates, or other compounds to precipitate.
Stable temperature and controlled feeding help limit deposits.
Variable Feed Composition
Solids concentration, particle size, pH, salinity, and temperature may change during production.
Adjustable bowl speed and differential speed support stable operation.
Corrosive High-Salinity Liquids
Chlorides, sulfates, acids, and alkalis can accelerate corrosion.
SS316L, duplex steel, titanium, or special alloys may be selected.
Dissolved Salt Content
The centrifuge removes suspended and precipitated solids but does not remove dissolved salts.
Evaporation, crystallization, or membrane treatment is still required for ZLD.

- Adjustable bowl and differential speed
- Corrosion- and wear-resistant configuration
- Automatic flushing system
- PLC and VFD control
- Integration with evaporation and crystallization systems
How the Decanter Centrifuge Works
1. Conditioned Feed
Conditioned high-salinity wastewater enters the rotating bowl.
2. Solids Sedimentation
Dense particles and precipitated salts move toward the bowl wall.
3. Liquid Clarification
Clarified brine remains closer to the bowl center.
4. Solids Conveying
The screw conveyor transports settled solids toward the conical end.
5. Continuous Discharge
Clarified brine and dewatered solids discharge separately.

Main Advantages
Protects Evaporation Equipment
Removes suspended solids before MEE, MVR, heat exchangers, and crystallizers to reduce blockage and erosion.
Reduces Scaling Risk
Separates precipitated salts and metal hydroxides before they accumulate on downstream heat-transfer surfaces.
Continuous Sludge Dewatering
Continuously concentrates solids without the batch cycles of conventional filter presses.
Improves Brine Stability
Produces a more consistent liquid feed for membrane concentration, evaporation, and crystallization.
Corrosion-Resistant Configuration
Materials and seals can be selected according to salinity, pH, chloride content, and operating temperature.
Please provide:
- Flow rate and temperature
- TDS and suspended-solids content
- Particle size and density
- pH and chemical composition
- Target solids concentration
- Downstream ZLD process
Can the centrifuge remove dissolved salts?
No. It removes suspended and precipitated solids. Dissolved salts require RO, evaporation, or crystallization.
Can it treat RO concentrate directly?
Yes, when the concentrate contains suspended solids or precipitated salts. Clear concentrate may not require centrifugation.
Is flocculant dosing always required?
No. It is mainly used when ultrafine particles settle poorly or higher liquid clarity is required.
Can it prevent evaporator scaling completely?
No. It reduces the solids load and scaling risk, but water chemistry and evaporator design must also be controlled.
Which material is suitable for high-chloride brine?
SS316L, duplex steel, titanium, or special alloys may be selected according to chloride level, pH, and temperature.
