The Bag Lifting Centrifuge is designed for batch recovery, washing, and dewatering of citric acid crystals after crystallization.

Citric acid crystal slurry usually contains product crystals, mother liquor, residual soluble impurities, and fine particles. The separation task is not only to remove liquid. It must also protect crystal quality, reduce mother liquor carryover, limit product dissolution during washing, and collect the finished cake with low residue.

How the Bag Lifting Centrifuge Works in Citric Acid Crystal Recovery

1. Crystal Slurry Feeding

Citric acid crystal slurry enters the rotating basket lined with a suitable filter bag.

2. Mother Liquor Filtration

Mother liquor passes through the filter bag and is collected through the filtrate outlet.

3. Crystal Retention

Citric acid crystals remain inside the filter bag while the liquid phase is discharged.
