Brief introduction

The Model PP Two-stage Pusher Centrifuge is a type of perforated basket centrifuge that is both continuous and effective. It is capable of continuously dewatering and washing slurry with crystals and fiber larger than 50 microns. This machine has successfully separated over 200 different kinds of products, such as sodium salt, ammonium salt, PVC, EPS, etc.

The machine is designed reasonably and manufactured accurately. All parts that come in contact with the material being processed are made of high corrosion-resistant special stainless steel with extremely low carbon content and high content of molybdenum or any other stainless steel that the customer requires. The machine has several advantages such as:

How Does a Two-Stage Pusher Centrifuge Work?

The PP Series operates continuously through centrifugal filtration and hydraulic pusher discharge.

Step 1 – Slurry Feeding

Crystal slurry enters the first-stage basket continuously.

Step 2 – Initial Filtration

Under centrifugal force, mother liquor passes through the screen while solids remain on the basket wall.

Step 3 – Hydraulic Pushing

The hydraulic system pushes the crystal cake from the first-stage basket to the second-stage basket.

Step 4 – Secondary Dewatering

Additional filtration removes residual moisture and improves dryness.

Step 5 – Optional Washing

Wash liquid can be introduced to improve crystal purity.

Step 6 – Continuous Discharge
