Core component

Working Principle

1. Raw material input
Untreated wastewater sludge (municipal/industrial/sand washing etc.) → Transported by the feed pump to the feed inlet of the horizontal screw centrifuge.
2. Core process of centrifugal separation
The sludge enters the high-speed rotating drum of the centrifuge → Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid sludge particles rapidly settle to the inner wall of the drum.
→ The spiral conveyor inside the drum rotates at a different speed from the drum, pushing the settled solid sludge to the discharge port.
→ The clarified liquid (clear water/standardized wastewater) flows out from the liquid phase outlet on the other end of the centrifuge.
3. Collection of solid and liquid products
① Solid end: The low moisture content dry sludge cake is discharged from the discharge port → Collected and transported externally / Landfilled / Utilized for resource recovery.
② Liquid end: The clarified liquid flows out from the liquid phase outlet → Discharged directly / Reused as reclaimed water / Further deep treatment
